LIT VERSE: Proverbs 25:2
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of man to search it out.
God hides it. You find it. It is our role to seek and search out the matters God has concealed. Seeking to stay in step with the savior and creator of the world is our primary job as humans. “God what are you saying and doing?” is what we need to be asking. Then respond accordingly.
Today I will seek and find. I will look and listen. I will watch and wait for the words from His mouth. I will move according to what I am shown.
I AM GRATEFUL...
LIT VERSE: Proverbs 21:31
The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord.
Be prepared for the day of battle. Do the work to be ready to take the field and win. The outcome of the ventures does not fully depend on how prepared you are. It depends on the favor God gives you for the victory. Victory is in Him.
No matter what you think, say, or do. Victory is not found in you. Your strength doesn’t matter. Your smarts do not matter. Your preparation doesn’t matter. I matter.
Do your best, get yourself ready. Do not trust yourself for the victory. Put the outcome in my hands and then see how I move on your behalf.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… Preparation and Victory.
LIT VERSE: Proverbs 20:27
The Spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his being.
The internal man and mind are the light within. (lamp of the Lord) Your inward thoughts and conscience are the search mechanisms for your being. Gaze at the inner man to determine the course of action.
Pay close attention to what’s happening within. I have given you an internal light to determine the way.
Today I will pay attention to the inner man more diligently. Lord help me see what's really going on with blinders off.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… Open Internal Eyes
LIT VERSE: Proverbs 18:21
With the fruit of a man's mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips.
Watch your mouth, watch your life.
Watch your mouth. It directs your ship.
Watch your mind. Watch your heart.
From the overflow of the heart the tongue speaks.
From the overflow of the heart, your life is impacted.
Guard your heart.
Today I will speak faith, life, love, and possibility. I will pray for my heart and ask God to search my innermost being.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… Good Produce.
LIT VERSE: Proverbs 14:23 In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
So many people want to avoid putting in the actual work. The idea of what they want to do sounds good, they love to talk about what “it will be,” but actually making it happen never becomes reality. To have profit you have to put in the labor. All labor produces some form of profit, the question is, how much profit do you need to make and what labor are you called to do.
Be about the business I have you for you. Any other business may yield profit, but it won’t yield what you actually need. I know the work you are called to for the kingdom. Listen intently as I lead you to the maximum profitability. Max Profit = Max Impact
Today I will focus on putting in the work that will lead to max profit. Maxing out the profitability will open most opportunities and max out our impact on the world.
I AM GRATEFUL...
LIT VERSE: Proverbs 12: 11,24 and 13:4
He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who pursues vain things lacks sense. The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slack hand will be put to forced labor. The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is made fat.
“Tracker” | “Slacker” |
---|---|
Till=Plenty | Vain Things = Lacks Sense |
Diligent = Rule | Slack = Forced Labor |
Diligent = Fat | Craves = Gets Nothing |
This list says it all… It’s about staying true to your calling. Don’t lose focus on what your true mission is.
You were meant to work the land I have given you. You are called to be diligent to the task. Don’t slack. Stay focused. This mission is critical, the enemy doesn’t want you to succeed, but I’m with you. Don’t worry, get to...
LIT VERSE: Proverbs 10:4
Poor is he who works with a negligent hand, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.
What kind of “GENT” are you? NegliGENT or DiliGENT?
It's not good to neglect the work you are called to do. It is also negligent to do work you are not called to do. In doing so, you are not in your calling; you are neglecting your calling by spending time working on things you are not called to do. To be diligent does not mean just work on anything you want. Diligence that leads to a rich life requires focus on the work you are called to and neglect of the work you are not.
Be an Indian Tracker every day and stay on course with the calling. Your calling is where you will have the most rich satisfaction. It’s where you will max out your impact and bring the change to the world you desperately want to see. My plans for you are good. Don’t devise your own.
Today I will remain...

LIT VERSE: Psalm 119:165
Life is full of things that want to trip us up. Why are you tripping? What are you tripping on? Did you see the roadblock coming and trip over it anyway? Maybe you are navigating the obstacles without the right focus. Maybe you need to change your focus. Don’t make it so much about where you are going, but who you are going with. You want to spend time with those you love. You want to spend time doing the things you love. What do you love most right now?
Where is the Word in the mix of your love life? Do you love devotionals and podcasts more than you love the word? The way you know what you love most often is determined by what you are thinking about most or how much time you spend with what you love.
When you love My words, ways, wonders, and works, you will be in a safe zone. It’s not that things won’t come at you. It’s that these things won’t trip you up. You will not be...
LIT VERSE: Psalm 119:130
The unfolding of your word gives light, it gives understanding to the simple.
When you are given a gift, it’s exciting to unwrap and discover what's inside. There is a mysterious sense of expectation for what is coming. We need to approach the word with the same excitement and expectation.
The word makes the simple spiritually smart. It’s like there is a dose of understanding and transformation hidden in every package. Each day as we sit before the word, it unfolds before us and has a mystery wrapped in it.
On Christmas we gave our daughter Bradlie a box with a folded up note in it. The outside of the folded paper said, “guess what?” Each day we need to think of coming to the word with this sort of Guess What expectation of good.
When you sit with me, I unfold mysteries and understanding before your eyes. I enlighten the eyes of your heart, which before the unfolding were dim, incapable...
